Macabre, Midevil, beautiful and romantic! Lauren and Rob met and live in New York City but had their hearts set on a backyard California Wedding. Lauren's Aunt had the perfect Tuscan home to take on the task and contributed greatly to transforming the space into a gorgeous Wedding setting. The Ceremony took place on the lawn in the backyard framed by willow trees and under an existing arch that Adornments, Flowers and Finery enhanced with an abundance of white roses. Guests sat on rustic cross back chairs and the Groom's Uncle officiated the Ceremony. Cocktail Hour was in the patio off the backyard. Haute Catering served an assortment of Delish appetizers like stuffed jalapenos and in a nod to the Bride's paternal heritage, a live Hawaiian duo, the Kalama Brother's, played. When it was time for dinner, guests were moved into the front yard where bistro lights had been strung by All About Events and dangling ropes of lights were hung from the majestic oak trees by Lauren's parents and Aunt and Uncle. The tables were assigned via Burroughs of New York and were a mix of rounds and farmhouse tables {handmade by Lauren's Uncle}. Garlands graced the farmhouse tables and sweet, overflowing centerpieces in gold vintage vessels adorned the round tables. Family Style Dinner was followed by donuts from SLO Do. Co - galaxy, old fashioned and many more including an XL for Laurel and Rob to cut and feed one another. The celebrating continued late into the evening with DJ Malik Miko Thorne setting the tone and a late night snack of In N Out. Congrats to Lauren & Rob! Thank you to my assistant Emily Martzen, amazing photographer Sarah Kathleen Leader {Facebook: @Sarah Kathleen Instagram: @sarahkathleenphoto} the team at Mistura Catering, Adornments Flowers and Finery, DJ Malik, Bottles and Ice, The Kalama Brothers, All About Events, SLO Do. Mark and Kristiina envisioned a simple and fun filled day for their December 16th Wedding and that is exactly what they got. Most of their guests were able to stay onsite at the new, spectacular Wedding Venue, HorseTail Ranch located in the quaint western town of Creston, California. Guests began their day with a breakfast buffet hosted in the yard off the Main Villa and could enjoy sweeping, majestic views and lovely fare from Field to Table. Following brunch guests were encouraged to partake in an activity of their choice: wine tasting guided by Fetch, bike riding on the many trails on the 150 acre property or horseback riding through the on-site company, Central Coast Trailrides. Guests reconvened at 4pm for a truly unique Ceremony which featured dark fruitwood chivari chairs placed directly on the dock at the venue's on-site lake. The intimate Ceremony was orchestrated excellently by Officiant Steve Lieberman. Afterwards, guests strolled through the countryside, back to the Main Villa for special toasts. The Bride's family attended from Finland and brought Finnish pink champagne for the occasion. Field to Table served appetizers and the Bride's nieces sang and played guitar during cocktail hour. Then, everyone moved inside the Main Villa where farmhouse tables were placed next to the roaring fireplace for a family style 5 course dinner. The fete was captured by Leana with Looking Glass Photography. Rentals were provided by All About Events. The Bride wore her Mother's vintage Wedding Gown. Hair and Make-up was done by The Queen's Bee's. Congratulations to Mark & Kristiina! What a lovely event to close 2017!

Pepper Tree Ranch Love Jessica in her warm, cozy fur! The Ceremony site at Pepper Tree overlooks a picturesque pond with views of the rolling landscape of Edna Valley. The barn was draped beautifully by Flowers by Kim and breathtaking in it’s elegance.
